Matt "T-Bone" Davis

Matt pours the blues into Bottle of Blues with his smooth smoke-hazed vocals and his sharp sultry guitar licks. He eats, drinks and always thinks the blues, and playing in regular old rock and roll bands wasn't cutting it. You can hear everyone from Buddy Guy to Stevie Ray in his licks, and his songwriting ain't half bad either. Matt's into building his own guitars and collecting electronics to get the right sound. Matt calls Tippecanoe, Indiana home, and the blues is his woman on the side!

Eric "Shy Boy" Brown

Eric is the guy that every musician would like to have playing in their band. He plucks the bass guitar now, but he also has saxophone, guitar, drums and just about anything that makes noise on his resume. He has been a part of a plethora of bands including the Rupert Bomb, Steel Toed Slaves, Rare Breed, the Davis-Brown Blues Band and Dogs in the Tub before finding a home with Bottle of Blues. His funky deep vibes keep this blues train a'rolling. Eric hails from just south of Akron, Indiana, but just above the county line. Today, we are all witnesses.

Brad "Old Style" Parker

Brad is the arguably the wisest member of the band, judging by his age. He's been playing music since 1969 in the form of classic rock, folk, and the almighty blues. He and Eric hold down the rhythm for Bottle of Blues, and his solid drum beats will keep ya shaking like a salt shaker all night long. At his age, it's sometimes difficult to keep him up past his bedtime, but when he does stay out late, his effort makes it worth calling into work late the next day. Brad calls Warsaw, Indiana his home.

Spencer "Davis Explosion" Fisk

This bluegrass junkie also can lay down the blues lick and rolls up and down the neck like nobody's business. He's also been an unpaid roadie and soundman at a show or two. If you're lucky, he'll let you know how he feels about it - too much rock for one hand.

Greg "Boog" Powell

In Indiana, they call it "relation". Since we're in Indiana, I'll say that Greg is one of Matt's "relation". In other states, that means something completely different, but when in Rome.. Greg also plays some wicked guitar, has jammed with us on different occasions, helps us set up, and is our usual soundman. Greg keeps some cool company, hanging out with the legendary Pinetop Perkins at one of our shows.

Andy "Big Rig" Berthusen

They say that Andy is the drive in Bottle of Blues. He's a perty good musician, recording engineer and just one hell of a guy. Andy is also the guitarist for Lame, a power-pop outfit from Iowa City, where he went to college. Like "Shy Boy" Brown, he is able to play a few different things, laying it down on guitar, bass and throwing in some entertaining vocals. Andy has lived a few different places, but heard the blues calling his name and had to hit the road to Indiana.

Andy is currently on haitus living in Tokyo, Japan - don't worry, he can't stay away forever.

The Best of the Rest... Friends of Bottle of Blues

Jeremy "Le Blow" Fisk

Jeremy is the brother of the "Davis Explosion" and plays a mean harmonica. He lives down in Indy, but stops by every now and then for a good puff on the ol'.. err.. you know what we mean.

Steve ("The Sax Man") and Elmer ("The Trumpeteer")

We don't know Steve and Elmer all that well, but damn, can they play some horns. They stop by every now and then when we're in the northwest corner of Indiana and give us a hand with the brass section.

Jerry Kramer

Jerry currently is the one of the guitarists in Relics, his classic rock band from Warsaw. He runs Mountain Music in downtown Warsaw and plays some mean guitar (and he can fix 'em, too).

Larry DeVincent

Larry can play it all, but he's stopped by once, and will do it again, to play some guitar and keys with us. (He'll also record your CD for you, if you want.)

Tom Ball

Tom is one of the best harp players in Northern Indiana and has been kind enough to stop by once in a while to jam with us.

Bill

Bill was the first "cameo" player ever to appear with Bottle of Blues. He arrived at our show one day with his buddy Spencer Fisk. We've never seen Bill again, but Spencer turned out to be OK. I've got two words for you: floppy disk. What's your name, man?
